On a normal day you can find me commuting between boroughs - from Manhattan to Queens to Brooklyn and back. Sometimes with a palette knife and a bag in hand, peeling advertisements off of construction sites.

My personal travel and interactions for a long time have informed the materials I use in my work including show posters, stickers, cardboard boxes, newsprint, photography and commercial advertisements. Having worked in the Advertising / Marketing industry for years I have an affinity for the printed object, text as image and saturated graphics. I use collage as a way of physically deconstructing familiar images into abstract peelings of color and texture.

This approach to creation through deconstruction has informed all of my work from murals, installations and illustration - transferring images, lifting colors, chopping up visuals and replicating textures to present new perspectives of familiar objects.
