My creative process is rooted in repurposing and collaging paper into painting, drawing and mural work. I use collage to physically distort and abstract found paper from its original form to create layers of color and texture. Working with materials like paper, cardboard, newsprint and photography I intend to display a level of accessibility to my work.
Over the years this process of creation through deconstruction has informed all of my creative work from murals, installation and illustration - transferring images, lifting colors, chopping up visuals and replicating textures to present new perspectives of familiar objects.
